Is this laptop still under warranty? I am asking because I believe this is a hardware failure which means components should be replaced. Also, if you disassemble it and it is still under warranty, you might break stickers that void warranty. Please confirm.

This is a hardware failure already. From your description, it could be the memory that is failing or your motherboard. If you want to test, you can open the memory compartment of the laptop, and remove the memory there. If you have 2 memory sticks, try to install only one, remove the other, then try turning on the laptop and see if it boots this time.
