Did you try "Sign in with a different account" and use the***@******.*** account.
Do you see an option for choosing another user?
I'm not sure what else to do. That old account is unrecoverable. I would see if you can take the laptop to a local technician or Best Buy and see if they can use your new account.
It's still locked to the old account. There is usually an option to choose "Other User" and then you can logon with the new one.
