Hi Dave, welcome and thank you for your question. My name is ***** ***** I am glad to assist you today.

I am very sorry about your issues. I believe this is a hardware fault already but let us try to perform a hard reset of the laptop and see if it can be revived.

Please do the following:

  1. Remove the battery of the laptop
  2. Unplug the power source from the mains and from the laptop. It means do not connect the power adapter yet
  3. With the battery removed and no power adapter connected to the laptop, press and hold the power button of the laptop for approximately 60 seconds
  4. After 60 seconds, please release the power button
  5. Then DO NOT plug or insert the battery yet
  6. Please plug the power adapter to the main outlet FIRST (important)
  7. When done, plug the power jack to the laptop (SECOND step, do not do the reverse)
  8. Then turn on the laptop and see if it is revived this time.
  9. Please notice if the fans are working and if the leds are lit as well and if the laptop boots fine

I hope that helped.
