I would like to speed it up.
Can you tell me what memory I could purchase to speed it?

It looks like your laptop originally shipped with 8GB of RAM.Is that what it's showing in msinfo32?
Expert:  Byron replied 7 months ago.
If you want to max it out to 16GB go here: http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for//latitude-e6430Click "View more compatible memory upgrades"then click "View all results"Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you'll see the 16GB kits.I purchase all my memory from Crucial. The price is competitive and they guarantee it.

so is that all I would need.?

What about storage memory for holding and editing video etc.

Expert:  Byron replied 7 months ago.
You hard drive is what you'll be using for the permanent storage. How big is yours? If you have really big projects you may want to consider purchasing an external harddrive to store those files.http://bit.ly/1VgCrkX

Between the 16GB of RAM and the external drive you're all set.
