I restored my hp pavilion running windows 10 back to factory

Customer Question

I restored my hp pavilion running windows 10 back to factory settings, backing up all files to Toshiba canvio desk. After restoring my laptop, I downloaded from the Toshiba canvio back onto my desktop. hardly any files restored. I noticed that several swm files had been made with total of 51.2 gig ( this is same amount of gig that was downloaded onto the canvio device. How do I restore this data from the swm files to something my desktop will be able to use.
