Please reply at the box below. Thank you.
Thank you. Only 3 keys 2 8 j are not working right?
Is any of those keys stuck?
Do you have an external USB keyboard (like a keyboard from a Desktop computer)? If yes, can you connect it to the laptop and check?
Please shut down Aspire One laptop, then turn remove charger / power cord from laptop, then remove battery at the back of laptop for a couple of minutes, then reinstall, then turn on and check. Please reply at the box below. Thank you.
OK, let it run, then let me know, thanks.
Did it run startup repair previously?
I mean, did it run startup repair at any time previously before the the keyboard issue first occurred?
Sorry, can I provide you another solution? Please let me know. Thank you.
You're welcome. Can we continue tomorrow? Thank you.
No problem, though the repair shop usually charges you a lot more. Thanks.
Hello David. If you are interested, I can provide you with instructions and a cheap replacement to repair the keyboard yourself. I can see your above discussion, and believe this will be much cheaper than taking it somewhere to be repaired.
