You can close your only LinkedIn account on the Privacy & Settings page:
Move your cursor over your photo in the top right of your homepage and select Privacy & Settings. You may be prompted to sign in to your account again. Click the Account side tab next to the shield icon near the bottom left of the page. Under the Helpful Links section, click Close your account.
Instead of closing incase you want to merge all the accounts, you can check the following link.
Once you merge please let me know so that I can help you with tips to make your linkedin profile lot better with some easy changes.
Please try and let me know if you have any further queries.
By itself LinkedIn wont be able to Close any account. It is the actual OWNER of the account who has to PROVE the ownership and then close it. Can you please let me know if we can do a remote session and see if we can solve the problem for you.
If you have proved your ownership and could login to LinkedIn account, you can close the account yourself and help you do that. For that you should be able to login to your LinkedIn account.
