Hi, welcome and thank you for your question. My name is ***** ***** I am glad to assist you today.

This model of your laptop has a FIXED battery. This means that the battery is part of the system assembly and is not user-replaceable.

Please refer to this specification page from Toshiba for your laptop model:

http://support.toshiba.com/support/staticContentDetail?contentId=4005013&isFromTOCLink=false

Or in this shareable link:

By the statement "not user replaceable", it means that the battery pack is NOT readily accessible by the user like the older versions or series of laptops.

In fact, the only way to access the battery is to disassemble the laptop to access its internals like the hard drive, RAM, keyboard assembly and the battery.

Please refer to this sample video that demonstrates how to access the battery pack of the Toshiba laptop. Please note and be guided that this video demo is NOT the same model of your Toshiba so the screws location may be different. This video only demonstrates how to access the battery pack for further testing and / or replacement.

Now, if you suspect that the battery needs to be replaced, I highly suggest that you bring it to Toshiba so that the battery issue is tested and it could be replaced since accessing, removing and replacing the battery needs some disassembly procedures which you might not be comfortable doing.

I hope that helped.

Please remember to rate my service positively (3-5 stars/faces) if this helped. Tips are always highly appreciated!

If you need further assistance, please do not rate me negatively with 1 or 2 faces. Instead, please reply to me so that I can help you further.

Thank you!

Best regards,
Jess
