Hi. My name is***** you for your question and the opportunity to assist.
To go back start or restart the laptop such that you are looking at the login screen.
While holding down the Shift key click the Power icon in the lower right corner and select Restart.
Release the Shift key when you see "Please Wait"
When the "Choose an Option" page opens click Troubleshoot.
On that page select Reset this PC.
Remove everything and recover to the partition where Windows is installed if asked.
Let me know if any issues. A reset can take upwards of an hour or more so if things seem a little slow that's
just the nature of the process.
Great. When it's done and you get back to setting it up again, if you don't feel like linking your login to
an email address, see this: https://miketabor.com/installing-windows-10-without-microsoft-account/
This will allow you to create a traditional username and password *****
And if you could take a moment before leaving to provide a rating using the stars at the top of the page
it would be much appreciated.
Hi. Is that laptop up and running now?
Just give it some more time. There's nothing that can be done to hurry it along.
What model laptop is this?
Good morning, Steve. Did the reset finally finish?
