Hi there, i'm Tim and will be trying to help you today. Is the laptop plugged in when booting? What is the error that shows up when it does?
sounds reasonable, is the machine plugged in?
And do you have an external monitor on hand by chance?
oh man, sorry to hear that. If you had a monitor i was going to have you plug it in to by pass the onboard screen. It sounds like it might be a hardware issue, esp if the screen being dim is new.
Try rebooting your machine and hitting f8 as it starts up, see if you can get into safe mode, or if it just does the same thing.
Sorry about that, really odd.
Ok, sorry about that - My last response was not intended for you, but another customer.
If after the reboot and trying to get into safe mode you are back at the same place, it's a very good indication there has been a hardware failure.
Having an external monitor would make it easier to confirm that so we could see what errors are showing up, but it looks like the laptop is not even booting off the harddrive, and the dim light is also a bad sign.
It may be wise to stop trying to boot this system and move to a data recovery stance, that is if there is data you need or want off of it.
I know this is not what you wanted to hear, sadly I don't always have good news to give.
Does this make sense?
sounds like you are on point, thats what i wanted to check, using port 25 right?
Hi there, i see you have checked back in, let me know if the above makes sense.
