Hi, I'm Sandy and I look forward to help you today with the best answer possible.

I'm sorry about the issue.

I will work with you until it gets fixed. This is a question and answer session. Please do not hesitate to reply back to me at the box given below.

Turn off the laptop.
Disconnect the power cord.
Now unplug the battery. You can turn it over to remove the battery.
Hold down the power button on the laptop for 1 minute.
Now, connect only power cord and restart it.

Please let me know the outcome. Thank you, ***** *****

I'll be darn - there is no battery compartment that I can find to take out the battery. I did unplug and held down the power button for 60 seconds. Now I have a black screen with Lenovo logo in the middle. A message just popped up that says Preparing Automatic Repair. A message appeared saying RECOVEDRY with the error code Oxc000000e. Screen is now black.

Did the restart with shift key pressed. Have black screen with Lenovo logo and the circle dots showing it is trying to load but nothing more.

Once you hold down SHIFT key and restart your computer, do you see an option to check all advanced options?

Do you have very important data on this computer?

If nothing works, would you like to restore it to factor settings?
