Hello! My name is*****
Please select "Continue to Windows 10" at the prompt you see and let me know if you are able to access your Windows account and use the computer as usual.
OK. Please tell me the make and model of your Toshiba computer and I will check what can be done to solve this problem.
Please do the following:1. Completely turn off the laptop2. Disconnect the power connector from the laptop as well as any other hardware that is connected (mouse, printer, external hard disk drive, etc)3. Turn the laptop over and remove the laptop battery4. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds, then release it5. Now re-connect the battery and the power adapter and turn the laptop onLet me know if there are any changes.
Does it stay on the "Diagnosing your PC" screen all the time, or it eventually reaches a blue screen that has 3 options:
3. Turn off your PC
Let me know if you see such options.
Did you receive a Windows or repair disk with the laptop?
In that case, the only way to get your Toshiba laptop working again would be to restore it to factory defaults. It will re-install the Windows, but also remove all the data on the laptop.
If you want to proceed with factory restoration, I can provide the instructions for you.
Yes, everything will be lost.
If you don't want to do that, you will need to get a Windows 8 disk so that you can use it and run the repair.
I am sorry, but I cannot remotely fix this problem for you. All I can do is provide the instructions for either factory restoration or Windows repair (if you have a disk).
I won't take your money since you are not satisfied with what I suggested.
I will opt-out and allow another Expert to provide their own suggestion regarding this problem. You will receive a new e-mail notification once someone replies to you here.
Hi there and welcome
Do you still require assistance with this? As we have an option to get the data off, but it will require some physical alterations to the Laptop.
Please let me know when we can proceed with this.
