There are a few things we can check here. When you say enable the wireless, are you referring to enabling the connection within Windows or enabling wireless via the Aspire (switch on the front or keyboard shortcut)? There should be an LED indicator showing WiFi is enabled
Are they any other wireless devices in your network and are able to connect wirelessly at the moment?
You should be able to cancel your subscription, I would have a look under your account preferences.
