My touchpad on my toshiba laptop is not moving the cursor . I have taken battery out. When a window is open I can scroll up and down with the touchpad but cannot move cursor. Please help. Anne

What is the operating system of your computer?

Windows 10

No windows 8 I think. But there is a windows 10 pop up screen on my desk top saying my free upgrade is waiting . I can't move the curser to X out of it.

Please press Windows key + R key.

Then type in "Devmgmt.msc" without quotes in the run command box.

Does it open Device manager ?

Now double click on mouse and other pointing devices.

Then right click and uninstall all the devices under it.

When you right click you see a pop down menu.

In that you will see the Uninstall option.

it have spoken to my credit card company. I am happy to pay the deposit but I require the nz $52.42 cent to be taken off I am not happy to pay the full amount. Only the deposit.
