I'm sorry about the issue. Here are the steps:
- Remove all the rubber stands on the bottom of the laptop. They have small letters on them. The ones near the monitor hinges have stickies. Ignore the 4 larger rubber stands.
- Remove all the screws at the bottom of the laptop
- Gently pry the laptop open from the power plug side.
