Was it this way since you unboxed it after receiving it / buying it?
IF so, the store is probably responsible! most especially if they have either re-boxed a formerly bought laptop, or else sold as 'new' an actually Used laptop.
Either way, your laptop should not have a password ***** it already! unless you ordered one.
The store is responsible, if they did it - and esp. if they sold it to you New. Pack it up, return it, and get another ***new*** laptop of the same type or of equal value from them. You have a right to ask for this.
(If your laptop is not New... that's different. Let me know the provenance of the laptop in that case, for advice appropriate to its condition.)
