Hello, I've done some price checking for you,
brand new you can find here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toshiba-S55T-A-S55DT-P55T-A-Touchscreen-glass-w-digitizer-no-bezel-H000066910-/271943706541?hash=item3f511ba7ad
Used you can find it for about $120.00 here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toshiba-Satellite-S55t-B-15-6-Back-Cover-Touch-Glass-Digitizer-Hinge-P000606700-/281781481350?hash=item419b7c2f86#viTabs_0
As far as labor goes Most places would probably charge between an hour to two hours of labor to do it, likely it is adhesed to the bezel as most touch screen assembly's go. and would require a heat gun (some people use hair driers but that takes awhile) and some technical knowhow about replacing touch screens... This would NOT be as easy as an LCD replacement in conventional laptops.
This youtube video may help if you want to try a DIY project, it's not model specific:
this is for the C55t not the S55t
Have not heard anything from you, are you there?
