I'm sorry about the issue. Can you please right-click on an empty space on the Desktop screen, then click on Personalize

(or go to Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization)

, then click on Change desktop icons option on the left

, then check the box User's Files

, then click OK at the bottom.

, then you will see your account name folder on the Desktop, then open it, then you will see your Documents and Pictures folders, etc. there.
