Hi, and thank you for asking your question. Just to clarify, are you unable to open up any programs at all? Are you using Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8? Please reply back to me below. Thank you.

OK, when did you first start having this issue with your system, please?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Within last 30 minutes. Was downloading ccleaner. Kapersky found malware performed isolation & reboot.

I see, looks like something has gotten corrupt here, so let's carry out a system restore now. Before I provide you with the steps, are you currently replying to me from a different device/computer? Keep me posted.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Different device. Performing restore now.
Expert:  Barun replied 1 year ago.
Okay, no problem. Do keep me posted. If the restore does not work, I'll provide you with further steps accordingly. Thank you.

Also, could you clarify if you are doing a system restore (which will roll your system back to a specified date/time) or a system RECOVERY (which will restore your system back to factory defaults)? Thank you.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Restore, specific date.
Expert:  Barun replied 1 year ago.
Okay, that's good. Do let me know how it goes :)
