Hello. My name is, Mike. I'd like to try and assist you with your issue. The first thing to do is try and boot your computer in Safe Mode. This can be done by hitting the F8 key repeatedly after turning on the computer. This should take you to a black screen where it gives you the option to boot in Safe Mode. Choose this option and see if your computer will continue to boot. If it does, note: your screen will look different and this is normal in Safe Mode. Once in Safe Mode run a system restore, and choose a date that goes back to when the computer was working normally. This will not delete any of your files, but will reset any settings that were changed or uninstall any patches that may have been installed that could have caused the problem. Once System Restore is done, then you boot the computer normally and see if that resolves the issue. If however, you are not able to boot the computer even in Safe Mode, then it looks like you could have a hard drive issue. If it is a hard drive issue, that is an internal failure and you will need to take your computer to a service shop like Geek Squad and have them test your hard drive for you.
