Hello! Thank you for your question. I am a licensed computer professional with over ten years of experience, and I will be assisting you today.

I'm sorry about the issue. Did you also try these, if possible:

1. Use a different HDMI cable.

2. Check if the monitor or display device is working on another laptop or desktop.

3. Test the laptop with a different monitor or display device.

Also, does the VGA port work on the laptop?

Please let me know. Thank you.

Items 1-3 tried no luck

Error message recived

Your PC can't project to another screen.

Try reinstalling the driver or using different video card.

Still want me to try VGA? I'd think Ill get the same answer.

Please try this first:

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click search.)

  2. Enter Control Panel in the search box, and tap or click Control Panel.

  3. Enter Recovery in the Control Panel search box, and then tap or click Recovery.

  4. Tap or click Open System Restore, and then follow the instructions to restore the computer any date before this issue has occurred, and check.

- If that does not work, go to Control Panel\System and Security\System\Device Manager
, then double-click on the item Display adapters in order to open/expand it
, right-click on each of the items under it and click on Uninstall and confirm (but don't check the box to delete the driver if shown). Then restart the computer, and it will automatically reinstall
, then check.

If needed, please try with VGA.

Please let me know. Thank you.
