I have a Toshiba NB 305 Netbook that my child says he spilled a small amount of water on, but said he wiped it up, the computer worked for about 5 minutes and now whenever I power it up, it gives me a 0211 keyboard error.
Already Tried: Rebooting, nothing works. Keyboard is dead.
Hi,I'm sorry about your laptop hardware issue. The keyboard is damaged as water has gotten inside it. Try connecting a USB keyboard to the laptop, then power on and see if it works. But you will need a new laptop keyboard, which you can get it at http://www.ebay.com/sch/Keyboards-Keypads-/33963/i.html?_nkw=Toshiba+NB305+keyboard ; the steps to replace the keyboard are at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2YAFXwh6LA , and http://erkinson.altervista.org/en/smontare-toshiba-nb305-aumentare-ram-sostituzione-lcdflathard-disk/
