i have an aacer aspire 7551-3029 laptop and it will not connect to our wireless network. im not very computer smart so the simple step by step would be the best

yes it detects wireless networks. yes and my daughters laptop is connected to wireless but mine wont
Step A:
i) Please click Start button,Control Panel. click Network and Sharing Center, and then clicking Manage wireless network(you will see this option at top-left hand side corner).ii) Find the network icons, right click them and click delete or remove.
1. Click start.2. Right click computer.3. Click Manage.4 Click Continue if it asks for to click on it.5. Now, click Device Manager (a TV icon in front of it) on the left hand side under computer management.6. Click Network adapter on the left hand side.7.Under the Network adapter, right click the items under it one by one and click Uninstall. Restart your computer.

i tried both step A and B and neither one worked
Please click the Wireless icon at the bottom right hand side besides time clock in the task bar.And choose your wireless network.Click your Wireless network and try to connect to it.Tell me what happens..Does it says connected or not

When you click your wireless nework, it asks to enter the security key. Right.Since how long are you facing this issue?
yes it asks for a security key. a month now
It asks for security key and you enter the key.Do you get a message--invalid key..or it gets connected after entering the key.
the key is good but it still wont connect
It means key is changed.It does not accept the key. Right.pelase connect an ethernet cable from the router to this computer(which you are trying to connect wireless)And tell me about the make of Router - linksys, netgear, belkin. I will help you find the correct key.
