Hi, What's the brand and model of your laptop? If you connect the laptop to the router with an Ethernet/network cable, does Internet work? When you click on the wireless / network icon at the bottom right of the laptop's screen, then select your wireless network name and connect, then what happens? Thank you.

Toshiba Satellite. Iam on the computer via the cable. IT WORKS In regard to the network icon there is one at the top of the keyboard. at bottom right it says networ k 2 internet acces-open network and sharing center
You are on the toshiba computer via the cable right?Does it have windows xp, vista, or 7? Can you right-click on (My) Computer, then click on Manage, then click on Device manager, then open/expand Network adapters and tell me the item(s) under it? Also, do you see any problem/yellow item in device manager?Yes, when you click on the network icon, does it show your wireless network name and/or your neighbor's wireless?Thank you.
