OK, the problem you are facing on your acer laptop is caused due to hardware faults, like some cable can be loose or the screen can be defective etc. and I request you to not rate me negative , that is less than 3 star or smiley faces for this fault, because I am not responsible for the fault and it is beyond my control to repair the fault. Now, I can only tell you, what to try in this situation, so I am giving you some steps to follow, as you are saying the problem is random, you have to try this few times, to be sure of the exact problem. If you face the same problem in safemode (which I am going to tell you), then it is definately a hardware problem and in that case, you have to repair the laptop. Now, the big problem is the cost of repairing, if the problem is related to cable, then the cost will be low, but if the problem is related to the whole screen, then the cost will be high. I know, it is very difficult to like this answer, but I hope you will understand, that I cannot give you anything except the true facts.


Shut Down the PC.

Restart it and start tapping the F8 key as soon as it power on until you can see the Windows Advanced Menu like the image below.




Select Safemode and press.
