Hi, I have an ACER 3680-2574 laptop. It is not starting up. The battery light is green (while the AC chord is attached) but it turns off as soon as I disconnect the AC chord. The LED for battery charging has no light at all. What should I do?
Already Tried: I removed the batter and tried to connect just the regular power but it didn't start still

Disconnect the charger. Then try to turn on your laptop. See if your laptop can turn on or not. Thank you.
The laptop has been on charging for more than 24 hours. But as soon as I remove the charger, the green light of battery goes away and the laptop doesn't start. Also, while the charger is connected, the only light that is on is the green battery light. There is another light with an icon of "bulb" which doesn't show any light any more. This icon used to blink when my laptop was working fine. What should be the next step.
Thanks so much for your info.The next step is to test with another battery and/or charger. We want to test to see if they battery and charger are working properly. Since you remove the charger and the laptop turns off, it is more likely the battery is failing.
1) So you are sure that the motherboard is working fine? 2) What does that "bulb" icon mean? It used to blink when the laptop was working fine but it has no light any more. 3) Also, My laptop is ACER 3680-2574. I am trying to look up battery for this model on amazon but don't know which one will suit it... The battery says "3UR18650Y-2-QC261". I don't want to buy a battery that wouldn't work or blow my laptop away.

If another battery works, then the old battery is faulted. If the new battery does not work as well, the system is having issue charging the battery. Then it is system board. Another reason why we test with another battery is because battery is fairly cheap compare to another system board.2) Light bulb means power. This indicates that the power charger is detected. I got my laptop fixed. The power button had failed (and IC had got broken). Moreover, the battery had failed too. However, the overall expenditure of all of this was merely $80 (including the batter and replacement of the IC)
