Hi my name is Jeremy, I would like to assist you with your question. I am an expert here on JustAnswer.com in the computer field. How are you doing today?
There is a couple of different option you can do:
First the Acer one does not have a CD drive
So you will need to use a flash drive to remove the password
Also you will need two programs
Download this file http://tinyurl.com/jeremykonboot
If it asks to run or save choose Run
Press Extract all files
Choose a folder to extract the file to.
Next place a flash drive in the computer
Next download this file http://tinyurl.com/jeremyunet
It will open a program up
Check the Disk Image box
Press the 3 dots ...
Choose the konboot.iso file we extracted earlier
Under Drive letter select the flash drive from the list
Place the flash drive in the Acer
Turn it on and rapidly press f12
Select the USB flash drive from the list with your arrow keys and push enter
This program will bypass the windows password
Once you are in windows click Start, Control Panel
Choose User Accounts
Click the account and remove the password
You can also restore the Acer back to how it came out of the box if this does not work
To do this
Turn the Acer off
Turn the acer on and rapidly press ALT and F10 together
It may take a few attempts
This will recover the computer to factory defaults without a windows password
However you will lose all data
