I would like to assist you with your Windows Password XXXXX.

To fix this issue you will need 2 things

1st: A blank CD or a blank DVD
2nd: A program called NT Offline Password XXXXXX

First you want to click this link http://tinyurl.com/jeremywindowspassword

This will download "NT Offline Password XXXXXX"

If it asks you if you want to "Run or save" choose RUN

This will open the cd110511.zip file

Click the "Extract all files" button. extract the .iso file in the .zip file somewhere you can locate it.

Next please visit this link http://tinyurl.com/imgburnjeremy

This will download a program called IMGBurn which we will use to burn the Password XXXXXXX Tool on your blank CD

When you click the above download link, Choose RUN once again.

This will start the installation for IMGBurn. Follow the steps to complete the installation

Open Imgburn (It should have made an icon on the desktop, or opened automatically after installing)

Place a blank CD in your Drive

Click the "Write Image file to disk" button.

Next to the text "Please select a file"

Click the folder with the spy glass

This will bring up a that shows the files on your computer. Locate and double click the cd110511.iso we extracted earlier.

Now click the Burn button

Place the newly burned CD in the computer with the Windows Password XX it.

Please take a look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6x385EIbE8&feature=related

Sorry to hear about your laptop being taken (it's so rare around my town in South Carolina to actually get stolen items back, I had a TV, 3 laptops, and a desktop taken) They even pulled over the car that had my items in it because they were driving suspiciously leaving my house but the police officer let them go and didn't bother to write down the plate or the name on the license that was presented.

Jeremy, thank you for your very prompt response. I'm a bit rushed right now but will follow your very detailed instructions when I get back home.

My computer was recovered because of a fluke. A suburban Dallas Police Dept took it from a pawn shop thinking it was related to another theft similar to mine. If they hadn't found my tax returns and personal info on the computer I wouldn't have it now but they did and I'm happy about that and your assistance.

I'll be back in touch later today.

Thank you,

Hi Jeremy,

First, I don't expect you to reply to this tonight. Earlier this evening I followed you instructions and followed the video all the way through. One of the thief's user names was' beezy' as administrator. When I tried to enter the name at the appropriate time I was only allowed to type 'beez'. It wouldn't allow the 'y' so I thought it only had space for 4 letters but when I typed 'administrator' the full word was accepted.

So after I ended the process in the correct way, I think, I was very disappointed when after the restart the name that showed at the sign in space was in fact, 'beezy'.

M*(%#*^%$$^(()F Y*#*&^ I typed and went to dinner.

Now I'm back and going to try one more time before bed time.

Hi Bruce I was just about to head out for bed and seen your reply.

This will just remove the password, it sounds like yo did do it correctly. It wont actually remove the name. To do change the name back:

Once you remove the password XXXXX the account Beezy

Log in to windows normally

Click Start, Control Panel

Click User Accounts

Then click Change your Account Name

Pick a new User name

Also if it didn't reset it may require you to enter the hex information next to beezy it may say 0x101 or something similar that would be the four characters it requires.

Make sure when using the offline editor you first pick the account to edit

Remove the password

Write the Sam File.

Reboot and the password XXXXX be removed.

If you have any issues with NTofflineeditor you could also try this CD it's called kon-boot

http://tinyurl.com/jeremykonboot

You would follow the same instructions to extract the iso file

Burn the ISO using Imgburn

Once you place the CD in the drive to boot it will let you boot into windows and click on the Breezy name, in theory it should bypass the password XXXXX

Once you are in Windows with Kon-boot

Navigate to Start, Control Panel

Click User Accounts

Then click Remove Password

I'll be online most of tomorrow, it's around 11pm est here, I should be on tomorrow around 8am est.

Hope you have a good night

By the Grace of Jeremy, my computer is unlocked and Beezy has been removed, but time will tell that. I just noticed that he installed Windows 7 before he hocked it. I just took a moment to look but I think all my stuff has been wiped clean.

Thank you once again for your patience.

Warmest Regards,
