Can you please let me know the operating system on your laptop?

If it is windows vista or windows 7 please go to start and in the search box type webcam and see if any utility for webcam is found installed or not. If a utility is found please run it. Generally software for webcam would be installed automatically if the webcam comes integrated in the laptop.

Hi,
I see that It seems you have tried hitting Function Key + F6 should make webcam ON in
Lenovo T410.
Also when we use Skype or Google Video chat feature webcam would be activated automaticallty..

Please try following the different ways below and let me know if webcam gets activated or not..

1) Press Fn Key + F6 Key at the same time.

2) Start a Video Chat with a friend on Google Chat or Skype or Yahoo chart or any other online messenger software that supports Video chatting.

If none of the above steps help.. Please check if "Integrated Camera" is installed properly or not in the BIOS. Please check http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/T400-T500-and-newer-T-series/New-T410-integrated-camera-not-working-anyone-can-help/td-p/219150/page/2

Also try if you can locate ThinkVantage communication Utility on your computer.. If you don't have Install lenovo ThinkVantage communication Utility on your computer .

Press function key + F6 to load think vantage communication utility.

Under the camera settings, click on "show camera images"
