I live in Nevada and am wondering if the Landlord is ever,

Customer Question

I live in Nevada and am wondering if the Landlord is ever, and under what conditions they would be held responsible for a accident that happened at his home where tenants currently reside.
JA: Because laws vary from place to place, can you tell me what state the property is in?
Customer: nevada
JA: What are the terms of the lease? Any issues related to maintenance or upkeep?
Customer: the tenants broke the lease by taking in a dangerous dog and consequently got out and killed my pet.
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: i don't believe the landlord knew of the animal though it was there on the property for months.

Hello, my name is Richard and I will try to help you. Please remember I just report or interpret the law, so the outcome may not be what you hoped for.

Why do you think the landlord would be responsible for the dog's attack?
