In state of wi, can i be forced/sued as a landlord to port

Customer Question

in state of wi, can i be forced/sued as a landlord to port the phone number that a commercial tenant had been using that i own
JA: Because laws vary from place to place, can you tell me what state this is in?
Customer: wi
JA: What are the terms of the lease? Any issues related to maintenance or upkeep?
Customer: their lease is up in 10 days, we had roof leaks that were repaired
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: they changed the locks without our permission, we've not had access to the premises unless they are there and they've been less than cooperative

Hello and welcome. I am working on your answer and will be right back!

I see no basis for such a lawsuit. The only way there could be a claim is if you agreed in a lease, rider or other writing to do so, and then breached such agreement. Otherwise, no grounds for it.
