Customer Question

Hello,
My lease is for six months, ending on Oct 31. After that it goes to month to month, with the provision in the rental agreement that either party can give 30 days notice.
My question: if my landlord gives notice today, October 17, of her intent to sell the house and therefore 30 days notice for me, does this 30 days start today, and therefore run through November 17, or does the 300 days start at the end of our original 6 month lease, which means the 30 days starts on now 1st?
Thank you for your help!
