Customer Question

One last question: I have seen the court summons and the judgement order and I am on neither, nor is anything like the phrase "and unknown others," but getting information out of my co-tenant is like pulling teeth. Today he told me that he "thinks" that
I am on the order now, after he went to court but, as I said, the judgement does not list anyone but him. Assuming that he's just not pulling things out of thin air, don't I still have to be served a summons for the order to apply to me?

They have to start the eviction process and give you proper notice as well as serve you and name you properly. If they really want to they can get this done pretty quickly but an eviction, if you are a co-tenant, must be done properly and give you notice in order for you to reply to any unlawful detainer petition.
