JA: When was your last oil change?
Customer: 6 MONTHS - BUT THE CAR SAT FOR TWO WHILE I REPLACED THE IGNITION HOUSING
JA: Are you fixing your Sportage yourself? What have you tried so far?

The exhaust will need to come off. You might be able to sneak it out without disconnecting the motor mounts, you could try to jack the engine up a little before taking the mounts off.
