Expert:  indy-tech replied 19 days ago.

okay good what is the problem the starter motor will not crank and no power on the "S" wire to the starter when trying to start .

Is there any warning lights on in the dash like the immo /security light

Greg

Customer: replied 19 days ago.
this is some of the situation, the small blue wire to the starter cycloid has voltage, the battery is good. all connector and fuses are good. But the park indicator is not lite up with the key on, and the key don't want to come out of ignition switch.
Customer: replied 19 days ago.
of course you that he has changed out the old motor and put in a new motor, with a new starter, the motor will not crank,
Expert:  indy-tech replied 19 days ago.

Have your Husband check the grounds to the engine block and chassis from the battery .

Hook up his scan tool and check for malfunction codes first .see what code you have .

Greg

Customer: replied 19 days ago.
the grounds are good to the block and chassis, and his scan tools will not recognize this car.
Customer: replied 19 days ago.
he said to make sure that you know, the park light on the dash will not light up, is it supposed to or not.
Expert:  indy-tech replied 19 days ago.

dash lights should come on with the side marker lights .

what type of scan tool or code reader is he using

Expert:  indy-tech replied 19 days ago.

but this would not cause a no start .

When he turns the key to start does he get battery power to the solenoid .

Expert:  indy-tech replied 19 days ago.

two connection on the solenoid one is a fat cable the other a thin wire .wire should have power only when the ignition key is turned to start position

Customer: replied 19 days ago.
no he does not get battery power to the solenoid.
Customer: replied 19 days ago.
that is the problem, the wire does not have power when the ignition key is turned to start position
Expert:  indy-tech replied 19 days ago.

okay this could be due to the security immo system .try another spare key.

Did he just change the engine or with transmission .

Greg

Customer: replied 19 days ago.
no he only changed out the engine only,a relay under the hood clicks when he tries to starts, but still no power to the solenoid
Expert:  indy-tech replied 19 days ago.

okay if the relay is clicking then the starting circuit to the relay is working .

check the wiring from the relay to the starter motor .

Greg

Customer: replied 19 days ago.
he will check that, and I will contact you back once he has checked that. thanks for now, Valli
Expert:  indy-tech replied 19 days ago.

You got Manuel or automatic transmission .

Customer: replied 19 days ago.
sorry Manuel transmission
Expert:  indy-tech replied 19 days ago.

Okay then check the wiring on the clutch pedal .

if this is not connecting the starter will not work first try pressing fullu down does not work disconnect and jump the pins then try and start .
