Kia Troubleshooting Questions? Ask a Mechanic
Hello! My name is Gary.Welcome to JustAnswer.First thing to check is whether the timing belt is intact and not stripped.
Then check for codes set in the engine computer ECM.
Was the car running ok, and then just died suddenly?
If so, it will not be the spark plugs.
It could be a no spark condition, but generally some other reason for no spark across all cylinders.
I don't want to scare you, but if a timing belt breaks, a lot of valves in the cylinder head get bent, and the engine stops.
Generally about $1500 for a cylinder head job/timing belt.
We need some physical diagnosis when you are ready to see a workshop.
Do you need any further help?
I hope my advice has been of assistance to you.
