My Kia just had fuel pump and filter change and it continues to have same problem jerks while driving or just dies
JA: What is the model/year of your Kia?
Customer: 2003 Kia Sorento Lx
JA: Are you fixing your Sorento yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No I've taken it to mechanic like I said just had fuel pump changed and filter
JA: Have you ever replaced the fuel pump, or is this the original?
Customer: I think it was original????

Thank you for that information. The most common cause would be a bad camshaft position sensor, crankshaft position sensor, mass air flow sensor or cracked/ripped air intake snorkle causing this problem.
