Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If it's setting cam sensor codes it could be because of a failed cam sensor, a sensor wiring issue, or the cams may not be turning due to a broken or jumped timing belt.

Had the engine light been on before the no start condition arose?
Does the engine seem to crank faster than normal now?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
No the check engine light was not on prior, but the engine does seem to spin faster then normal. Car ran fine when shut off then won't start the next day

The engine cranking faster is another indication that the timing belt has broken. I would recommend either a compression test or having a look at the timing belt.

If the timing belt is broke, is the engine most likely damaged?
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
If the timing belt is broke would the cam shaft still turn. I can see the camshaft turning through the oil fill opening when sending is cranked
