Customer Question

I have a 2004 Amanti with only 83000 K on it. I have had it from new. I had the timing belt changed in 2009 at 44000 K ( 5 years ). I am considering getting the belt changed again after 7 years. Do you think I am right? Alan.

Hello, I'm Brandon - Kia tech.

The belt should be changed every 60,000 miles.

Expert:  internal88 replied 6 months ago.

since you are under 60,000 miles from the first time you changed it. It is not necessary to change it yet.

You could wait little longer.

Please rate me positive, thanks.

This is the recommendation from the Kia factory.
