Kia Sedna Sedona: Big oil leak after changing oil and filter

Customer Question

Big oil leak after changing oil and filter on a 2007 Kia Sedona. Leak appears to be coming from area under filter. The filter itself is not leaking. Is there a hose, line or sensor in that area that could be the cause.

there is an oil pressure sending unit that is below the oil filter housing. they can start to leak. also did you replace the o-ring on the oil filter housing lid?
