Kia Rio: My husband was driving the car and it just quit running.

Customer Question

My husband was driving the car and it just quit running. We thought it was the fuel pump, replaced it but that's not it. It keeps blowing fuel injection fuses when we try to start it. any thoughts?

Thank you. Most of the time when this occurs it is from a broken timing belt or a bad crank sensor. If you have a scan tool you can check and see if there is a crank signal. If not do a compression test. If there is no compression then the timing belt broke. If not then it may be the crank sensor.
