Hello, I'm Brandon - Kia tech.

What do you mean they are hitting?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
there getting spark I don't know what else could be making the misfire
Expert:  internal88 replied 1 year ago.

So you are getting misfire code?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I cant get it any where to see if there is a code on it when I put it in reverse or drive it acts like it isn't getting gas goes about a foot then wont go any further just sits there and I press the gas the rpm's drop and it dies
Expert:  internal88 replied 1 year ago.

So the check engine light is ON?

It sounds to me the torque converter is bad in the transmission.

The engine power is not connecting to the transmission.

Expert:  internal88 replied 1 year ago.

Therefore when you press the gas it is not going anywhere.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
the check engine light flashes and then it will go of and run fine but you get it so far up the road and the light comes on and it starts doing it again
Expert:  internal88 replied 1 year ago.

flashing means misfire. Have you replaced the ignition coil yet? Typically it is the coils fault.
