Hello, my name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I have noticed that your question was not getting a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.Start first with making sure the battery is fully charged and the cable are clean and tight. If the engine is turning over its not likely due to the break pedal . When it cranks are you getting spark to the spark plugs as well as injector pulse and proper fuel pressure?
If the engine is cranking over then it should start. You did say it cranks over right?
The break pedal being stiff should not keep it from starting.
Even if that is the case , if the engine is cranking over it should start. If you suspect its related to the break pedal then the first hing you need to do is to have the computer system scanned and see if there are any fault codes setting. If you can get this done and post back with the results I will advise from there.
Unfortunately it can be rather hard to fix every problem on line because it often requires hands on testing. I am sorry I could not be of more help. Thank you just the same and best of luck to your.
