Hi im kevin is car petrol or diesel?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Gas or petrol. It worked just fine yesterday, this morning was the first real cold morning -17C. The previous owner had the same problem, replaced the fuel pump last spring, but it didn't get cold enough then to see if it had fixed the problem.

The primary sensors responsible for starting fuel level, especially cold weather starts, are the AIT(air input Temp) and the ECT(engine coolant temp). If they are malfunctioning the ECU will not fuel the car for cold start (rich).
the best way to find which is likely cause is to have car plugged into diagnostic equiptment and see on live data if they ate reading correctly
