Kia optima: i have a 2004 kia optima when i put gas in it

i have a 2004 kia optima when i put gas in it its hard to start and have to hold it at 2500 or more to keep it running , also if i put gas in it with it running it start running real rough and sometimes die

Hello, my name is Bobby. It sounds like you have a purge valve in the evap system that is sticking open. If it is then you will get too much fuel vapor into the engine and it will run like this. In some cases it is the evap canister or the vent valve, but that majority of the time it is the purge valve. Please let me know if you are fixing this yourself and need help with this.
