Gentlemen;Yesterday I took a Kia Sedona EX V6 for a test drive and was impressed. Having been in the Aftermarket parts business for 35 years I would never have thought to look at this vehilce for my personal use. I'v been a fan of the big three Detroit manufacturers. Living in Canada during the cold winters, do you percieve the Sedona to be a vehicle really worth purchasing.Thanks for the information..... Ralph, Calgary, Canada.

Being in the aftermarket parts business for 40 yrs I have stayed closer to the Detroit Big Three for personal purchases. Is a Kia a worthwhile investment. I need something reliable and for long term service. Min 8 yrs. Is this a good purchase or am I better off with a different brand. Thanks for the help with this.
Hi,how are you?the sedona is a great vehicle with a really good mechanical history behind it. The customers that I have that own these vehicles have just had minor issues nothing out of the norm brakes,belt ,ETC. I live in Mississippi and the vehicles that I see here from the north of course have a lot of rust build up,but you would really be in that situation with any vehicle you purchased due to the winters. I would recommend this vehicle as it is solid mechanically and the body holds up.Also Kia offers a very good power train warranty that is normally 100,000 miles .XXXXX XXXXX41040.534300544

The Sedona comes with the 3.5 271 HP engine that gives you the power you need in your climate and equipped with the ant-skid four wheel ant- lock power distribution braking system that will for sure help in the ice and snow. In the event of a accident it is equipped with air bags through out side,curtain,front,and rear. The 3.5 engine is a very durable engine however have the timing belt changed between 60,000-80,000 miles because this is a interference engine.
