2007 kia sorento: oil change..mile..my oil light indecator..stop light

Customer Question

i have a 2007 kia sorento an the other day went to get an oil change and my yearly state inpection at a local Auto shop near my work. after they did the work and i payed them i was off to work when about a mile down the road l noticid my oil light indecator was on at a stop light. when i take off form a stop the oil light will go away after passing 1000 rpm. and does not come back on until the car hits idle (700 rpm). kia towed it to there shop and called me with the diag. they siad that the stem in side the oil fliter housing was borke of and that is what causing the oil pressure to drop at idle. is there a way you can show a picture/diagram of the part that needs to be replased? thanks

It would be number 19 in the diagram and that will only break if the tech overtightened the oil filter these just dont break out of the blue.
