2006 Kia Sedona: cam..oil pressure light..low RPM..Normal temp

Customer Question

I have a 2006 Kia Sedona with engine light on with code P021 which is the over advanced bank2 cam but the oil pressure light is on as well when the car is in low RPM ( less than 900) when reached Normal temp. Anyone knows what could cause it before starting to change parts?

Welcome to JustAnswer, my name is XXXXX XXXXX I'm here to help get your problem resolved. Ask follow up questions, thanks.

This code can be caused by low oil pressure....which sounds like your problem....You can try to use some engine flush to clean out possible engine sludge, remove il pan and make sure pickup tube is not clogged..Replace the oil control valve filter incase its clogged..If problem is still there replace oil pump. Let me know if you have questions, thanks.
