2006 kia rio: timing belt..the crank is easy the cam is the prob..hood

hello i have a 2006 kia rio Iam changing the timing belt the prob Iam having is no one can tell me the timing marks on the crank is easy the cam is the prob is the mark up or down this is a1.6 thats whats on the sticker under the hood and its not a DOHC it only has one cam on top the parts store said it should have two cams but it dont PLEASE HELP IAM AT MY END

The 1.6 engine in 2006 Rio does have 2 camshafts, but only one timing gear in the front of the engine. It should look like this,

The timing marks should line up like this, (the holes will line up so that you can put a small drill bit in them)
