NOTE: The throttle position sensor is not adjustable or replaceable. The throttle position sensor is part of the throttle body assembly

Prior to removing throttle body, check that ignition switch is in OFF position.

  • Disconnect throttle position sensor connector.
  • Loosen clamp and disconnect air intake hose from throttle body.
  • Disconnect IAC valve connector.
  • Remove accelerator cable bracket bolts.
  • Disconnect accelerator cable and move aside.
  • Disconnect two coolant hoses from throttle body.
  • Remove three bolts and remove throttle body from intake manifold.
  • Remove throttle body gasket.
  • Clean mating surfaces of throttle body and dynamic chamber.
